Description

The Friends Meeting House, built in 1813, is located on the west side of Church Street. It was constructed on the site of an earlier meeting house from 1676. The building is made of ashlar stone and features a plain pediment with a round window, along with two round-headed windows that have architraves and two blank segmental-headed panels beneath them. The sides of the building are plain. The Friends Meeting House, along with Nos 159, 160, and Nos 162 to 164, forms a group of listed buildings.
