Description

No. 159 Church Street is a 17th-century building that stands three storeys tall with a gabled roof and a plastered exterior. It features timber framing and a jetty at the second floor and gable. The building has 19th-century paired sash windows with wooden mullions. The shop front, also from the 19th century, includes plain pilasters and modern glazing. To the left of the main structure, there is a pentice extension that has one window on each storey, with the upper window featuring glazing bars. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 157, 160, the Friends Meeting House, and Nos. 162 to 164.
