Description

The King's Arms Public House is an early to mid-19th century building located on the west side of Fore Street in Mevagissey. It is constructed from rubble with stucco quoins and window dressings that feature keyblocks. The ground floor is rusticated, and the building stands three storeys high, with two sash windows that do not have glazing bars. The entrance is a central panelled door adorned with bolection mouldings and a keyblock. The roof is slate with a gable end, and there is a modern flat-headed dormer. This public house is included in the listing for its group value with Nos 1 to 13 (odd) Polkirt Hill.
