Description

Nos 1 and 3 on Polkirt Hill in Mevagissey are 18th century buildings with a 19th century front. They are roughcast and consist of two storeys and an attic, featuring four windows overall, which are sashes without glazing bars. There is a small shop window with a cornice and fascia, along with two gabled dormers. The buildings have a slate roof, and the end of the front is weatherboarded, with a passageway running through. These buildings are included for their group value, as they form a cohesive group with Nos 1 to 13 (odd) and the King's Arms on Fore Street.
