Description

The tombchest of Thomas Kempthorne, dated 1758, is located 10 metres to the west of the tower of the Church of St Tetha. It is constructed from stone rubble and features a rectangular slate lid. The surface is inscribed with both upper and lower case lettering that includes serifs, commemorating Thomas Kempthorne and others.
