Description

The Kemp family tomb is located approximately 8 metres south of the porch of the Church of St Wulfran in Ovingdean. This tomb, dating from the late 19th century, was designed by C.E. Kempe, who is interred beneath it. It is a stone chest tomb in a Gothic style, featuring the crest of the Kemp family on the east end and inscriptions on the other three sides.
