Description
Rectory Cottage is a detached house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features cobbles with brick dressings on the north and east fronts, while the south and west sides are finished in stucco. The roof is tiled.
The building has three storeys and two windows on the south, or entrance front. The entrance has a flat-arched design, and the windows on the entrance front, except for the ground-floor left, are shallow segmental-arched with sashes of original design. To the east of the north front, there is a two-storey bay, and a gabled wing to the west. Most windows, apart from those in the bay, are segmental-arched with brick dressings and keystones, featuring sashes of original design. The west front includes an oriel window on the first floor, with all windows being flat-arched; the window above the oriel has sashes of original design. The roof features both hipped and gable elements, with stacks on the sides and front. The interior has not been inspected.
