Description

A group of cottages dating from the early 19th century, situated in Ovingdean, Brighton. The buildings comprise three cottages – numbers 11, 12, and 13 – and a granary. Number 11 is a three-storey range facing the road, constructed of flint with brick dressings. Number 12 is a two-storey connecting range, and number 13 a two-storey range with a hipped roof, located to the south. The granary, formerly a garage, is a weatherboarded structure situated to the north. While many openings have been renewed and window fenestration replaced, and later 20th-century additions have been made, the original fabric remains. The interior of the cottages has not been inspected.
