1/11 John Kemp monument in churchyard about 2 m south of priest's door Church of St Michael

Chest tomb. Early C17. unidentified stone. Flat topped, steeply chamfered top, monolithic slabs north and south sides, former inscribed: "Here lieth the body of John Kemp of Raddington buried the VI day of July 160-". East and west ends open with stone lying nearby. Top eroded. A good example of an early chest tomb with remarkably clear lettering.
