Description
The Clock Tower in St Teath was built around 1920 as a memorial for the First World War. It is constructed from roughly coursed local snecked stone and features a slate pyramidal roof. The tower has a square plan with the entrance located on the southeast side. It consists of two stages and has a clock face on all four sides, with rectangular louvred openings above. The southwest and northeast faces include rectangular windows with hexagonal patterned glazing bars. On the southwest elevation, which faces the square, there is a granite memorial plaque near the base that commemorates the men who were killed in the First and Second World Wars, as well as in 1952.
