Description
The tombchest of John Wivell, located 9 meters south of the transept of the Church of St Symphorian, dates from 1807. It commemorates John Wivell, who died in 1807, his wife Sarah, who died in 1812, and their daughter Mary Ann. The tombchest is made of slate rubble and features a rectangular slate lid. The inscription is presented in a nowy headed panel, using upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
