Description
The tombchest of Thomas Wakeham, located 6 metres to the south of the south aisle of the Church of St Julitta, dates from 1799. It commemorates Thomas Wakeham, who died in that year, and his wife Mary, who passed away in 1812. The tombchest is made of stone rubble and features a rectangular slate lid. The inscriptions on it are in both upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
