Description
This gazebo, located about 15 metres south of Glencairn, was built in the mid to late 19th century and is constructed from granite ashlar with a glazed roof. It has a small octagonal shape and features a glazed pyramidal roof in the Gothic style. The structure is single storey, with the front showcasing a pointed arched doorway set within a Gothic gable, flanked by pilasters that have trefoil finials. The doorway is chamfered and has a studded door. On either side of the entrance, there are pointed arched windows, each containing two pointed archway lights and a central quatrefoil, all set in chamfered surrounds. The two outer sides of the gazebo feature weathered buttresses, while the rear three sides include a central weathered buttress and similar windows on the right and left. The roof is hipped and topped with a wooden finial. The interior has not been inspected.
