Description
The barn located to the north of Trebeigh Manor is a bank barn that includes a shippon, mangle house, threshing floor, and granary. It was built around the 1820s and is constructed from rubblestone with a slate roof that has hipped ends. The west front features two storeys and is almost symmetrical. The ground floor is partly blocked by an adjoining building on the left side. There is a central double plank door beneath a cut granite segmental arch, flanked by two single plank doors. To the right, there is a wider plank door beneath a reused cut granite segmental arch with a hollow chamfer. The first floor has two double doors leading to the threshing floors, each with slate hoods above. There are two narrow slits between the doors and the hipped ends, along with a row of pigeon houses in the center. A later opening to the left of center has been partly blocked. The interior has not been inspected. This barn is included for its group value with Trebeigh Manor.
