Description
This is a mid-19th century bank barn located 10 metres to the west of Trewassick Farmhouse. It features a shippon, hayloft, and threshing floor, and is currently used for stables, while the upper floor remains empty. The barn is constructed of stone rubble with large ashlar granite quoins and dressings, topped with a scantle slate roof that has hipped ends. The south front is symmetrical and has two storeys. The ground floor includes three round arched openings with granite keys, with two 3-centred arches in between, although the first and third arches are blocked. There is an original shippon door on the right side, and above it are two double doors with granite dressings and slate hoods. The central round arch opening is partly glazed. The interior has not been inspected.
