Description

SW 98 SE ST ENDELLION MIDDLE STREET, (east side), Port Isaac 9/94 No 11 (Little Dolphins) 6.6.69 GV II House, originally with shop on ground floor. Circa early to mid C19. Rendered and painted stone rubble, plastered on front elevation to Middle Street. Cement-washed slate roof with canted hipped end, deep over hanging eaves and rendered side lateral brick chimney stack. Plan altered, probably originally with shop premises on front with entrance in canted side elevation and further entrance to dwelling in Dolphin Street on left. 2 storeys and attic asymmetrical single-window front to Middle Street with C19 24- pane shop window with heavy glazing bars, incised pilasters and moulded cornice. First floor with C19 12-pane hornless sash with moulded exposed sash box and C20 full-dormer to attic above. Left-hand side with canted corner with C20 part-glazed stable-type door with C19 12-pane hornless sash above. Side elevation to Dolphin Street with blocked door on ground floor with C20 window and C19 12-pane hornless sash above. Interior not inspected.
