Description

The Vivian headstone, located approximately 4 metres east of the south aisle of the Church of St Erth, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It commemorates Mary Vivian, who died in 1792 at the age of 24; John Vivian, who died in 1804 at the age of 35; and Charity, who died in 1828 at the age of 27. The headstone is a segmentally-headed granite monolith featuring an incised slate insert on the west side.
