Description
There are two headstones located 18 metres to the southwest of the west tower of the Church of St Petroc in Padstow. One headstone commemorates Elizabeth Vivian, the daughter of John Vivian, a mariner from Padstow, and his wife Mary, who died in 1782. The other headstone is for Mary Vivian, the daughter of John and Mary Vivian, who died in 1780. Both headstones are made of slate and are rectangular in shape, featuring inscriptions in upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
