Description
This is a row of six headstones located about 3 metres east of the north aisle of the Church of St Terminus in the churchyard. The monuments date from the 18th century and early 19th century and are made of slate.
The headstone for Elizabeth Gill, dated 1809, features a shouldered nowy head and a laudatory quatrain. The headstone for Sarah Gill, from 1804, has a segmental head, an inscription, and a quatrain. Ann Brewer's headstone, dated 1805, includes a shouldered nowy head and an inscription. William Brewer's headstone, from 1789, has a stepped segmental head, an inscription, and a valedictory quatrain. John Brewer's headstone, dated 1807, features a shouldered segmental head and a valedictory quatrain. Lastly, the headstone for Mary Brewer, from 1820, has a shouldered segmental head and valedictory verses.
