Description

The Pryn monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about one metre north of the north aisle of the Church of St Terminus. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of brick with a slate top and cast iron railings. The tomb is a rectangular brick chest topped with a plain slate surface. It is enclosed by railings set into the ground, featuring spear-top designs. This monument commemorates William Pryn of Markwell, who passed away in 1807.
