II House. Early C19, altered. Rendered (probably on killas rubble), with some granite dressings, slurried slate roof. Square plan, plus various additions to the rear. Two storeys; channelled clasping pilasters to the corners; the 2-bay south facade has a coved niche in the centre of the ground floor, flanked by round- headed French windows which have glazing bars and fanlights with Gothick 2- centred arched tracery, and two 2-light top-hung casements above, also with glazing bars; pyramidal roof of shallow pitch with prominent eaves, tall chimneys to the sides and rear, and an unusual low square lantern at the apex (suggesting a functional look-out to sea, rather than recreational use). The right-hand return wall has a round-headed doorway in the centre, a flat-roofed rectangular bay window to the right, with a 12-pane sash in the front and narrow 4-pane sashes in the sides, and a 12-pane sashed window above this. Interior: reeded architraves to the doors; dog-legged staircase with open string, stick balusters, and wreathed curtail
