Description

Trecarrel is a house located on Penberthy Road in Portreath, dating from the mid to late 19th century and slightly altered. It is constructed of killas rubble with granite dressings and features an asbestos slate roof. The building has a rectangular double-depth plan and is two storeys high with three symmetrical bays. The central doorway has a shallow overlight and a recessed door with round-headed panels. There are 12-pane sashed windows on both floors. The roof is hipped with projecting eaves, and there are chimneys on the side walls. Trecarrel forms a group with the Methodist Church to the left.
