Description

This is a milepost located opposite the Methodist Church on Penberthy Road in Portreath. It was likely made in the later 19th century and is constructed from dressed granite. The milepost has a triangular shape and stands approximately one metre high. Each of the outer faces features a sunk panel that is inscribed with the distances: "POOL" and "REDRUTH 3 4".
