Description
The Morshead Monument is located in the churchyard, attached to the east wall of the south aisle of the Church of St Anietus. This structure consists of paired chest tombs from the early 19th century, made of granite. The tombs are formed from a single moulded plinth and feature a lid with a moulded edge. The inscription on the lid is in uppercase sans-serif lettering, commemorating William and Olympia Morshead, with the earliest decipherable date being 1811, which is for Olympia Morshead.
