Description

NORTH HILL SX 27 NE 4/147 House and adjoining outbuilding 10 metres to north of Pethins GV II House and adjoining outbuilding. Probably C18. Stone rubble with granite quoins. Slate roof with gable ends and at least one early crested ridge tile. Stone rubble end stacks. Plan: Double depth plan with entrance slightly to right of centre. Larger principal room on front left was possibly once a shop. Lean-to outshut on right hand end. Exterior: Two storeys. Almost symmetrical two window front. C19 door with slate hood to right of centre. C19 16-pane sash with dressed stone arch to right. Probably late C19. Canted bay window, possibly for former shop and 1-light window to left. Two C19 16-pane sashes on first floor. Small C19 outbuilding of stone rubble adjoining on right hand end. Interior: not inspected.
