Description

The tombchest of John Ines, dating from 1781, is located 4 metres to the west of the north-west corner of the west tower of Egloshayle Church. It is constructed from stone rubble and features a slate lid. The inscription is presented in elaborate upper case and lower case lettering with serifs, commemorating John Ines who died in 1781.
