Calstock Methodist Church

Calstock Methodist Church is a Methodist church dated 1910, constructed of granite rubble with limestone and brick dressings, topped with a slate roof featuring ridge tiles and gable ends. The building has a single auditorium plan, with the entrance located on the front gable end and the ritual east at the rear. It is built into the bank, with a basement accessible from the left side.

The church is designed in the Gothic style. The front features a shallow porch supported by buttresses, Gothic double doors with a pointed arch, and a 2-light window with cusped lights on either side, above which is a string course. At the upper level, there is a prominent 4-light window with an ogee hood mould and finial, showcasing Perpendicular style tracery. The sides are adorned with angle buttresses topped by turrets, and the gable ends have raised coped verges with carved stone finials.

On the right side, there are four lancet windows separated by brick-dressed buttresses, along with a brick eaves cornice. The basement level features casements in brick surrounds. The left side mirrors this arrangement, with a central door leading to the basement. At the rear, there is a circular window at the upper level, flanked by lancet windows on either side. The basement has a central triple lancet window with single lancets to the right and left, and a brick string course continues from the sides. The interior has not been inspected.
