Methodist Church. 1876. In restrained Gothic Revival style. Pitch-faced stone with ashlar dressings. Pitched slate roof. Gable fronted with moulded arched doorway to left and right in deep, chamfered reveals. Central 4-light window with large wheel in head. Over the gable which surmounts the left doorway, is a tall, square, 3-tier tower, formerly with clock to 2nd tier. Two slender louvred bell-chamber openings, to 3rd tier, in deep, chamfered reveals. Corbel-table over supports splay-footed ashlar, octagonal spire with four lucarnes. Transept to each side elevation with 4-light window with wheel, as front. Windows to side elevations are small lancets.
Interior: Raking gallery to rear now behind recent partition with large arched opening. Similar arched openings to each side of pulpit, the one to right containing the organ, the one to left with panelled partition with glazed traceried upper part containing a large wheel. Polished pine furniture. Panelled roof, closed at collar level of the arched-braced trusses. Central pulpit with stair to each side with turned balusters. Similar communion rail.
