Description
The building is a former coach house, now used as accommodation for park gardeners, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features hipped slate roofs with a large stone chimney that has a shaped ashlar cap. The structure is single storey and has projecting gabled wings on both the left and right sides, each with two entrances (one of which is blocked) and a central window, arranged symmetrically. The central section of the building contains three large elliptical arched carriage entrances with an impost band; the central entrance is larger and partially blocked, creating an arcaded appearance. There are oculi above the outer entrances and a single square opening above the central entrance. A later addition has been made to the rear of the building.
