Description
The gatepiers and gates at Burgh Lane Gate to Crow Nest Park were built in the late 19th century. There are four square ashlar piers that are panelled and topped with segmental pedimented caps and large square bases. The piers are inscribed in capitals with the words "BURGH LANE GATE." Each pier features decorative wrought iron gas-lamp brackets designed to hold a globe. The entrance includes one pair of main iron gates and two side gates, all adorned with heavy wrought iron decoration.
