Description

HAYLE LETHLEAN LANE, Phillack SW 5638-5738 9/121 The Old Vestry at approximately - 35 metres east of Church of St Phillack GV II Former vestry. Circa early C19. Coursed copper slag block walls with granite lintels over the openings. Half-hipped concrete tile roof. Plan: Rectangular plan room over basement built into the end churchyard on the rear (north) side. Doorway to vestry at left hand. Exterior: 2 storeys. 2 window south front. Doorway to basement left of middle with window on its right. Old ledged door, blocked window openings. Wall continues towards churchyard gateway on left and forms the one side wall of a otherwise open lean-to porch to the vestry doorway in the left-hand wall. Original 4-panel door. Right-hand end has wide window opening with C20 tripartite sash. Interior: not inspected.
