Description

The cross located approximately 20 metres west of Mowhay is a Grade II listed structure dating from the Pre-Conquest period. It is made of granite and features a monolithic wheel-head with a short shaft. Both faces of the cross are intricately carved in relief, depicting a crucifixion on one side and a Latin cross on the opposite side.
