Description

The cross located approximately 10 metres south of the Church of St Levan is a Grade II listed structure dating from the Pre-Conquest period. It is a tall granite monolith featuring a wheel-head and an integral tapered shaft. One side of the monolith displays a carved crucifixion that extends partly down the shaft, while the opposite side features a stop-ended Greek cross above a slender shaft. This cross is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, number 801.
