Description

A row of three attached houses located in Church Street, St Germans, dating from the mid-19th century with minor later alterations. The houses are constructed of slatestone rubble with slate and asbestos slate roofs, featuring gable ends and brick gable stacks, including a large rubble stack to the left of number 2.

Number 1 is a two-room plan house with a central entrance, and is two storeys high, featuring a symmetrical three-window front. The upper floor has four 16-pane sashes with cambered heads. The ground floor has a plain central door, and a 16-pane sash window on either side, all with cambered heads. Number 2’s entrance is on the right, with one room at the front and another to the rear on the left. It is a two-storey house with a three-window front, featuring 16-pane sashes with flat stone arches. It has a half-glazed door recessed to the right. Number 3, of a wider frontage, is also two storeys and symmetrical with a three-window range. It has 16-pane sashes with flat stone arches and a central door with glazed panels. The interior has not been inspected.
