Description
The Davies headstones, located approximately 5 meters northwest of the tower of the Church of Saint Maugan, consist of two memorials. The first, dating from 1782, commemorates John Davies, who died at the age of 59. The second headstone, from the 19th century, honors John Davies of Bojorron, who passed away in 1834 at the age of 73, along with his wife Susanna, who died in 1833 at the age of 58, and others. The 1782 headstone is a round-headed monolith made of slate, featuring a moulded border and an incised inscription. The 19th-century headstone is a segmental-headed monolith crafted from granite, with an incised slate insert. Both headstones face west.
