Description

The Davies monument is a headstone located in the churchyard about 6 metres north of the north transept of the Church of St. Germanus. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of slate. The headstone features a stepped nowy head with a lined border and has a central, primitive carved head of a cherub with wings. It includes a quatrain and an inscription dedicated to Susanna Davies, who passed away in 1768.
