Description

This barn, located 8 metres to the northeast of West Carwen Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century and has been converted into a studio. It is constructed from stone rubble with granite quoins and features a slate roof that has a hipped end on the left and a gable end on the right. The building has a rectangular plan, which likely originally included stables or shippons on the ground floor with a loft above. The barn is two storeys tall and has two door openings on the left side, along with a window and a door on the right. The first floor includes a door and a window opening, as well as a line of pigeon holes situated below the eaves. This barn is part of a group with West Carwen Farmhouse.
