Description
This small house, located approximately 30 metres north west of Antron Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a bitumen-coated grouted scantle slate roof with granite stacks at the gable ends. The house has a shallow double-depth plan, likely consisting of two rooms at the front flanking a central lobby or cross passage that leads to a stair between very shallow service rooms. The exterior is two storeys high with a symmetrical two-window south front and a central doorway. It has 19th-century 12-pane two-light casements, although three of the lights are unhinged. There is also a five-step mounting block on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
