Description

Chy Growynek is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed granite with granite dressings, and has a hipped roof covered in scantle slate, with a brick chimney on the right-hand side. The original plan likely comprised two rooms at the front, flanking an entrance hall, leading to a stair hall between two shallow rear service rooms. The east front is symmetrical, featuring three windows and a central doorway with a blind window above. The probably original panelled door is now sheathed and has an overlight. The windows are likely circa late 19th century, 4-pane hornless sashes, though they may be original sashes with some glazing bars removed. They are set within flat arches with keyblocks. The interior has not been inspected.
