Description

No. 2 Trennick Row is a house located in Truro, dating from the early 19th century. It features incised stucco on masonry, an asbestos slate roof, brick end stacks, and cast-iron ogee gutters. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a symmetrical two-window range. The ground floor is rusticated, and there is a flat stucco architrave above the central round-arched doorway, which has a moulded hood supported by consoles and a spoked fanlight above a six-panel door. The doorway is flanked by two-storey canted bay windows, which contain original hornless sashes with glazing bars and moulded cornices. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
