Marigold Cottage Morvena

Marigold Cottage and Morvena are a pair of cottages built around the late 18th century. They are constructed from painted stone rubble and have a rendered front elevation. The cottages feature a slate roof with gable ends and stone rubble chimney stacks that have rendered brick shafts. Each cottage has a one-room plan, with entrances located at the center and later extensions added at the rear. The front elevation has three storeys, while the rear has two. The symmetrical front has two windows. On the ground floor, Morvena on the left has a 20th-century bow window and a 20th-century glazed door. To the right, Marigold Cottage has a part-glazed 20th-century door and a 20th-century window with glazing bars. The first floor features a 20th-century window with glazing bars on the left and a 19th-century two-light casement window on the right. The upper floor has similar windows, with the left-hand window opening beneath a raked dormer. The interior has not been inspected.
