Description

CAMBORNE SW 63 NE 8/1 Farm building in field to west of Boswyn at SW 661 364 II

Farm building, perhaps formerly a dwelling, now a store. Uncoursed granite rubble with large quoins, roof of corrugated iron sheet. Rectangular 3-unit plan. Single storey, but the 3rd unit lower; the centre unit has a doorway to the left, with massive jambstones and a stable door, and to the right of this the outline of a blocked former window; to the left, the 1st unit has 2 doorways and a small window under the eaves to the left of each; to the right, beyond a vertical joint, the 3rd unit has central doorway and 2 small unglazed windows under the eaves. The rear has inter alia a small square roofless enclosure without any openings (purpose not known). Interior: features concealed by contents at time of survey, but no chimney stack visible.
