Description
The tombchest of George Cock is located 4 meters to the northeast of the chancel of the Church of St Ivo and dates from around 1748. It commemorates George Cock of Penquite and is constructed from ashlar slate stone and rubblestone, featuring a moulded lid. The rectangular slate led stone is well engraved with a dedication around the edge. At the time of inspection, the central panel was covered by later headstones.
