Description

This is a headstone dedicated to George Cock, who died in 1743. It stands about 1 metre north of the north chapel of the Church of St Laurence. The headstone is approximately 3 feet high and features foliated scrolled shoulders leading to a scalloped and cartouche-shaped head. It is adorned with a winged cherub's head and crossed trumpets.
