Description

This is a chest tomb for the Cock family, dating from the 18th century, located about 5 metres northwest of the Church of St. Peter in Oare. It is made of limestone with a sandstone slab. The tomb features a moulded plinth and has moulded raised and fielded panels, along with enriched urn-shaped corner piers. The inscription on the top slab is illegible.
