Description

Glebe Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage with minor later additions and alterations. It is constructed of roughly coursed slate-stone with granite quoins and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features 16-paned glazing bar sash windows with red brick heads and granite keystones on each floor, positioned on either side of a central six-panel door. There are integral end stacks, with the left stack having a red brick shaft and toothed capping, while the right stack is rendered. A single-storey lean-to is attached to the right gable end, and a large 12-paned glazing bar sash window at the centre rear illuminates the staircase.
