Description

A pair of houses built in the early 19th century, with later additions and alterations. The houses are constructed from roughly coursed slatestone rubble with granite lintels, and feature alternating angle quoins. The roof is slate-covered. The houses are two storeys high with an attic. The front has three windows, with 16-pane glazing bar sashes most of which are blind and painted to resemble genuine sash windows in the centre of the first floor. A pair of four-panel doors are located in the centre. Two gabled dormers are set into the roof slope, each containing a segmental-headed glazing bar sash window. Integral end stacks are present, with a red brick shaft on the left, which is rendered. The interior remains uninspected.
