Description

St Mary's Cottage and The Binnacle are a pair of cottages built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from painted rubble and feature a rag slate roof, which is slurried on the left side, and a central brick chimney stack. The cottages have a single-depth plan and rise to two storeys, presenting a two-window range with shallow segmental arches. The original windows are 16-pane hornless sashes. There are doorways located at the far left and right; the left doorway has a 20th-century door, while the right features an original four-panel door with a five-pane overlight above it. The interior has not been inspected.
