Description

Pen Brea is a small house located in a row of buildings, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of rough-rendered rubble and features a steep asbestos slate roof topped with late 19th-century crested clay ridge tiles. The house has a shallow-depth plan with a rear extension and stands two storeys high, comprising a two-window range. The windows are mid to late 19th-century four-pane hornless sashes, or possibly early 19th-century sashes with some glazing bars removed. There is a doorway situated under the left-hand window, which has a 20th-century part-glazed door. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
