Description

Port Cottage and Edistone is a house that has been divided into two homes, dating from the 17th century. It features roughcast render on a rubble base and has a steep asbestos slate roof with three flat-roofed dormers that break the eaves. There is an external front lateral stack with a small brick shaft. The building has a single-depth plan with a later extension at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range, with 20th-century four-pane horned sash windows. The doorways on the left and right appear to have been inserted into former window openings, and both have 20th-century doors, with the left-hand door having a slate hood above. The interior has not been inspected.
